Client Challenge
The home security installer in Budapest was looking to expand its home fire safety product range to meet growing residential market demand in Hungary. Previous suppliers had issues with:
- Inconsistent product quality between batches
- Missing UL 217 / VdS certification documentation
- Long lead times (60+ days) causing stock-outs
- Limited APP localization — English-only interface unsuitable for Hungary consumers
Wanlin's Solution
Wanlin assigned a dedicated export account manager to the Budapest client and provided:
1. Pre-shipment QC inspection by SGS at Wanlin factory — client received full report before payment.
2. Complete UL 217 / VdS documentation package — accepted by Hungary customs on first submission.
3. Customized packaging with Hungary language instructions and local compliance marks.
4. 8-week delivery via sea freight (FCL) + DHL air for urgent replenishment orders.
5. English + local-language APP — reducing customer support burden for the Budapest client.
Results After 6 Months
- Zero quality-related returns from end consumers in Hungary
- 91% repeat purchase rate among end users who registered the APP
- Client expanded from 1 SKU to 7 Wanlin product lines
- Second order placed within 3 months — quantity increased by 30%
- Achieved ISO 9001 factory audit acceptance by Hungary insurance partner
